We love it! \nSo come and join us with a kombucha mocktail and settle in for an evening of learning something new! \nThis is a hands on fun kombucha brewing workshop\, where you will take away a kombucha scoby with you and a ready to brew kombucha and brew kit. \nWe will delve into the fascinating world of fermentation\, learn about the journey of kombucha\, how to brew the kombucha\, different methods\, teas and tips to make the best brew. Then how to flavour and fizz your brews and create it just the way you like it. As we will be into Summer this is the perfect time to start your journey with this wonderful living drink. Emma is a keen forager and will share edibles and the wonderful flavours that we can create with these drinks! \n \n(Hibicus & Rooibos Kombucha) \nThere will be time to ask questions\, tasters to help inspire you further and some surprises of other ways to use your kombucha than you may expect! \nWe provide all the equipment & materials you may need. DESCRIPTION:  \nAutumn fermented chutney workshop (Working with everything the season offers from wild to cultivated) £65.00 \nThis workshop is hosted by the wonderful Mel at Bare Health\, Congleton\, brought to you by Emma\, Wild Pickle and this is focusing on the Autumn season and creating a fermented chutney from the fruits and the nuts and all the season has to offer.  \n \nAutumn\, when all the flowers turn to fruit..  \nIt’s a stunning season to enjoy the fruits\, whether it is from cultivated plants or from wild plants and trees.  \nThere is more to this workshop than it sounds. This is hands-on and you will leave with a jar of foraged fruits\, veg\, herbs and spices to enjoy within days of creating it\, by the magical world of micobes. We will also explore how to create a live fermented soda drink from what is available to us and look at other ways to preserve what we harvest and forage this Autumn.  \n \n \nVery excited to be creating more workshops in line with the season we are in\, and with the ingredients available to us. We will enjoy seasonal tasters of what is possible to be created using lacto fermentation. We will go through the science behind the art of fermentation and the whys and wherefores to making a safe ferment and whilst enjoying the season with live foods. \n \nThe tasters will involve seasonal live sodas\, seasonal chutneys\, sauerkrauts\, kimchis\, cultured cheeses and crackers and other delights for you to enjoy. There will be an e-book with recipes that have been tried and tested and enjoyed by Emma from Wild Pickle\, who has been fermenting for 15 years\, and this is the 11th year of running these workshops. Her quest is to inspire you and pique your curiosity growing for the expansive world of fermentation. \n \nCome and join us for the evening of fun\, learning and lovely food and flavours! \nThe spaces for this workshop are limited\, so please book early.
