Please read these terms & conditions carefully before purchasing any of our events or courses. Once a purchase has been made (“the client(s)”) will have entered a binding contract on the basis of these terms & conditions. If you have any questions about them please do not hesitate to contact us. 

Agreement on the basis these terms & conditions arise upon the fulfilment of all of an order being placed. Wild Pickle Experiences Limited reserves the right, in its absolute discretion and without the need to give reasons, to refuse to accept a booking. In such circumstances no agreement arises and Wild Pickle Experiences Limited will return any payment accompanying the booking. The agreement is between Wild Pickle Experiences Limited and the client(s) and is the sole agreement between those parties. No variation of these terms & conditions shall be applicable unless agreed in writing by Wild Pickle Experiences Limited before the relevant order. The person ordering shall be deemed to sign that form for his / herself and as agent for all other persons listed on that form and warrants that he/she is appointed agent for that purpose. 

The agreement is governed by English law. 

Booking one of our foraging courses, workshops or other events, you accept these Terms and Conditions and use this site at your own risk. Wild Pickle Experiences Limited is not responsible for any loss or damage that may arise out of use of this website or attending or booking onto any of our courses, workshops or other events. 

  1. Booking and Payment: 
  2. To secure your place on a foraging course or workshop, full payment is required at the time of booking. 
  3. Payments can be made online through our secure payment gateway. 
  4. Bookings are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
  5. Only bookings made through the website www.wildpickle.co.uk or Ticket Tailor will be accepted for the foraging course or workshop. Any bookings made through other platforms, third-party websites, or unauthorised agents will not be considered valid. The organisers reserve the right to verify the authenticity of the booking and may refuse entry to individuals who have not booked through the official website. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that they have booked through the correct channel to secure their place in the foraging course or workshop. 
  6. Cancellations and Refunds: 
  7. If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing or by email at least 30 days before the start of the course. 
  8. Cancellations made within 30 days of the course start date will not be eligible for a refund. c. For cancellations made outside the 30-day period, a refund will be provided minus a 10% administration fee. 
  9. In the event that we need to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient enrollment, we will provide a full refund. 
  10. Course Changes: 
  11. We reserve the right to make changes to course dates, times, locations, or content if necessary. We will notify you of any changes as soon as possible and offer suitable alternatives. b. If the offered alternatives are not suitable for you, a full refund will be provided. 
  12. Arriving late: 

a.To ensure the smooth running of our courses, please kindly inform us promptly in the event of any lateness or absence. It is important to note that our courses will commence at the scheduled time, and unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for any missed time. We retain the right to refuse entry to latecomers, and in such cases, no refund will be provided. 

  1. Right to refuse entry: 
  2. The right to refuse entry to a foraging course or workshop is reserved by the organisers . This decision may be based on factors such as participant behaviour, failure to comply with safety guidelines, or any other reasonable grounds deemed appropriate by the organisers. In such cases, no refund or compensation will be provided to the individual who is denied entry.

The organisers hold the sole discretion to make this decision and their judgments shall be final. 

▪ Age restrictions may apply for some events. Please ensure that you check, these will be clear when booking. 

▪ Children under 16 years of age are the responsibility of their parent or guardian and must be supervised at all times. 

▪ Newhouse Farm is a working farm and cannot accept responsibility for risks and hazards. Areas of the farm are open to the public for which Newhouse Farm are responsible. Wild Pickle Experiences Limited accept no responsibility outside the boundaries of the workshops. 

▪ Cars are parked at the owner’s risk. No responsibility can be accepted for loss of property or damage to vehicles whilst on site or other sites where Wild Pickle Experience Limited provides events. All attendees must park in a considerate manner. 

▪Dogs are not allowed on site or other venues and not to be brought to events. Any requirement for guide dogs must be discussed in advance. 

▪ Wild Pickle Experiences Limited will not be liable for any failure to provide the services contracted in the following circumstances: Industrial action by employees; Industrial action by staff or a major supplier; Fire, lightning, aircraft impact, explosion, riot and civil commotion, malicious damage, storm, tempest, flood, burst pipes, earthquakes and impact, terrorism; Breakdown of plant or any failure to supply to site of gas, electricity, water services etc.; Any other circumstances beyond reasonable control of Wild Pickle Experiences Limited. 

  1. Health and Safety: 
  2. Participants are responsible for their own health and safety during the course.
  3. It is your responsibility to inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements that may affect your participation in the course. Please do so when making the booking. 
  4. We will take reasonable steps to accommodate any special requirements but cannot guarantee that all requests can be met. 
  5. By booking on a foraging course or workshop, you confirm that you are physically capable and fit to participate in activities that may involve hazards associated with the natural environment. You acknowledge that potential hazards, including but not limited to steps, logs, low branches, and uneven surfaces, are present during the course, and you possess the necessary capabilities to navigate and handle such hazards safely. 
  6. Liability: 
  7. Participation in foraging courses involves some level of risk. By booking a course, you acknowledge and accept these risks. 
  8. Wild Pickle, its instructors, and staff shall not be held liable for any damages, injuries, losses, or expenses incurred during or as a result of participating in the course, except in cases of proven negligence or willful misconduct. 
  9. Wild Pickle prioritises the safety of our guests and recognises the potential allergy risks associated with consuming new wild food. We assure you that we never provide guests with plants and mushrooms that are listed as known allergens. Additionally, we will provide you with information regarding any known allergens related to each species we encounter during our events. However, please be aware that consuming anything during our events is done so at your own risk. 

d.When attending courses, we do not advise you to bring or wear items of high value. We will not accept responsibility for loss or damage to any personal possessions. e.We reserve the right to refuse entry to an event. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you agree to the following:

  1. Photography and Consent: 
  2. We may take photographs or videos during the course for promotional purposes. By booking a course, you grant us permission to use these images without compensation or further notification. 
  3. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform us in writing before the course begins. 
  4. Complaints: 

In the unlikely event that a client has cause for complaint about a Wild Pickle Workshop or course, a complaint should be made in writing within 28 days. To the extent permitted by law Wild Pickle Experiences Limited will not be liable in respect of claims first intimated later than 28 days from the close of the relevant order. 

  1. Your statutory rights: 

This agreement does not affect your statutory rights. 

  1. Insolvency and cancellation 

Insolvency and cancellation by Wild Pickle Experiences Limited – In the unlikely event that Wild Pickle Experiences Limited becomes insolvent, where possible all money will be refunded in full. In the unlikely event, Wild Pickle Experiences cancels an event, all attendees will be refunded. 

  1. Governing Law: 

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Great Britain

By booking a foraging course or workshop with Wild Pickle, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us prior to booking.
