Nettle, Pear, apple and Kombucha fruit leather recipe

What to do with the left over nettle mash? Mash from making either Nettle cordial or making a sweetened nettle brew to make nettle kombucha Whizz it up with pear and apple puree and kombucha scoby and you have ridiculously tasty fruit leathers (they are pretty sweet, so little rolls and not very often but a welcome treat all the same)

3 ripe pears chopped
3 apples chopped
1 kombucha scoby
200g of nettle mash
200ml water
100ml kombucha drink

Cook chopped pear and apples, water, and nettles until soft.
Puree together and let cool until room temperature, add kombucha and scoby and whizz up until smooth.
I found this sweet enough without adding more sweetener.

Either spread on trays and dehydrate for 8hrs to 16hrs on 57 degrees
Or use an oven on lowest setting with a chop stick in the door to keep it a jar and not too hot.
When dry pop into an airtight container.

These make great quick snacks for a little energy burst and we get to make those spring nettles last a little longer!
